Lelia grew up where the trees whispered and the river kept its own counsel—deep in the South, spinning stories for her sisters while wandering through Little River Canyon. A graduate of Florida State University, Lelia left the classroom behind to pursue a full-time writing life steeped in psychological suspense and emotional reckoning.
